On November 5 to November 6, 2011, the 5th 'Future Cup' Sports Meet was held in the West Campus of Institute of Science and Technology of Ningbo University. A total of 330 staff from Future Petrochemical and its subsidiaries participated in the Games.The game lasted for a day and a half, and the athletes on the field sweated like rain, like a wild horse, full of desire for victory. The cheering sounds of the entire stadium have come and gone. With their firm belief and tenacious spirit, the athletes fully demonstrated the elegance of the future and showed their true style.
The sports track and field events mainly include long-distance running, sprinting, long jump, high jump, and shot put. In the original activities, the individual projects were divided into Shaoqing group and Changqing group. In order to make this event more participatory, in addition to the traditional sports meeting project, the eighth set of fun competitions, fun jumping ropes, and interesting cross-border relay races have been added. The new projects have received enthusiastic response and praise.
In the whole game, the athletes created excellent sports performances with good sportsmanship and superb competitive level. A total of 4 people broke three records. Among them, the women's long jump and the two broke the best record of the future sports events. The second phalanx consisting of the PP&PC business unit, ABS&PS business unit, liquefaction business department, human resources department, industrial research center, and product technical support center topped the list with a total score of 213 points, and won the game without any suspense. The first place in the group, also won the honorary title of "spiritual civilization award".
At noon on November 6th, accompanied by the applause and laughter of the athletes, the sports meeting entered the stage of the closing ceremony. A certificate of commendation, a piece of medals, and a smile made a record of the joy of harvesting on this green field. .
